| To prevent suspicion of bias and to protect the integrity of their elections, the University of South Carolina Graduate School required an independent recording source and the ability to audit and track all votes. |

| During the election, eBallot acted as a 3rd-party agent verifying voter eligibility, delivering ballots and tabulating results. Additional security measures prevented the election administrator from changing votes and influencing results. Upon completion of the election, USCGS’s staff was able to access the final results and view time and date stamps for each vote. |

| Participants were highly satisfied with the voting experience and with paper receipts that validated that their votes counted. USCGS staff and administrators had peace-of-mind knowing that a trusted and proven software application had protected their election from hackers and ineligible voters, and produced final results that could be trusted. |
