Scan Alert 

The HACKER SAFE certification from Scan Alert is a vulnerability audit process that is achieved by passing rigorous daily network security audits. The audit comprises of dynamic port scanning, network penetration testing and web application vulnerability testing. Whenever vulnerabilities are detected, alerts and remediation management is put into place. The HACKER SAFE logo and shield are provided when no vulnerabilities are found.

eBallot is a certified HACKER SAFE application. Daily rigorous audits ensure that highly effective, pro-active security standards are maintained at all times. The vulnerability auditing process tests eBallot to pass the FBI/SANS security tests as well as the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard requirements.

The advanced “intelligent” port-scanning technology is designed to track complex IP networks and allows monitoring of network devices and find unauthorized access or services over the network.

The penetration tests provide comprehensive testing of the Internet-facing systems and test for weaknesses or disclosure of information which could be used by attackers to compromise confidentiality, availability or integrity of the network.

SAS 70 Certification

SAS 70 is an acronym for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) 70, titled “Reports on the Processing of Transactions by Service Organizations”. SAS 70 is a widely recognized auditing standard that defines the professional standards used by a service auditor to assess the internal controls of a service organization like eBallot and issue a service auditor’s report. SAS 70 certification includes the auditor’s opinions and a description of controls.

eBallot is SAS 70 Type I Certified. This certification is:
